2. WeCare Fellowship National Essay Competition on Environment 2020

WeCare Fellowship invites entries from students of Class 11 and above for WeCare Fellowship National Essay Competition on Environment 2020.

The participants are required to write an essay expressing their views on environmental issues. The key objective of this competition is to recognise and felicitate writers among Indian students. The theme of the essay competition is Waste Management. The winners will receive a cash prize up to INR 25,000 and also get an opportunity to attend Creative Writing Course to be conducted by the organisers. In addition, the winners will get an internship opportunity with corporate partners supporting this initiative.

• Open for Indian nationals only residing in Delhi. 
• Applicants must be studying in the final year of undergraduate programme (any stream) in a government institute in Delhi.

4 West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship 2020-21

Eligibility

To be eligible, an applicant must:

• Be a domicile of West Bengal
• Be studying in a school or institution which is affiliated with a Council/Educational Board/University of State or Central Government
• Have scored at least 50% marks or equivalent in the last qualifying exam
• Have a family income of not more than INR 2 Lakh per annum
• Belong to the minority section of West Bengal 

Note: Students pursuing their studies in institutes outside West Bengal are not eligible for this scholarship.

5Eligibility

• Available only for young women from underprivileged backgrounds from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, or Telangana
• Have passed Class 10 from a local government school
• Have passed Class 12 from a government school/junior college in the academic year 2019-20
