The Assam government has ordered all schools in the state to promote students from the first to the 9th standard in the next class. This decision has been taken due to the school being closed for months in the Corona period. Apart from this, it has also been decided to start the next academic session from April 1.
Significantly, all over the country including Assam Corona virus Schools remained closed for several months due to the epidemic. Children’s online classes ran for most of the academic year. In November, schools in Assam were opened with the arrangement of Aud Even.
– The Government of Tamil Nadu has decided that students of class 9th, 10th and 11th in the state will pass without examination.
This time, even in Delhi government schools, children up to the 8th standard will not be tested. The Delhi government has issued guidelines for schools aimed at evaluating students in the academic session 2020-21, stating that there will be no offline examination for students of classes III to VIII in government and government aided schools. Students will be evaluated on the basis of ‘worksheet’ and ‘assignment’. Parents of students who do not have digital medium facilities should be called and given an assignment. The Delhi Education Directorate has said that children from nursery to second grade will be promoted to the next class. Children from KG to second grade should be given grades / marks based on their winter vacation assignments and online / offline worksheets done during the Corona epidemic.
