FAFE Scholarship
The Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access (FAEA)* offers the FAEA Scholarship 2024–25 to Class 12 graduates or first-year undergraduates pursuing degrees in the arts, commerce, science, engineering, or other technical and professional fields at any Indian institution. The program means to give monetary help to praiseworthy understudies for finishing their undergrad studies. Tuition, a maintenance allowance, or charges for the hostel or mess, and other allowances will be given to 50 candidates who are chosen.
The Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access (FAEA) is dedicated to promoting equal access to higher education, particularly for students from underprivileged backgrounds.
Eligibility
- have passed Class 12 from a recognised board in India OR
- be a first-year undergraduate student enrolled in a program offered by a recognized university, institution, or college in India, in fields including Arts, Commerce, Science, Medical, Engineering, or other technical or professional disciplines.
- belong to the socially and economically disadvantaged sections including the Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Others Backward Classes (OBC)/Below Poverty Line (BPL) category.
Note:-
Students whose Class 12 results are not declared can apply after the results are officially released.
General category students can apply for need-based financial grants with a merit component. They must have either scored above 90% marks in their Higher Secondary Exam or secured admission to a top-ranked Institution of Excellence in India.
Benefits
- Students who fail to maintain satisfactory academic progress.
- Candidates experiencing a physical or mental illness that prevents them from continuing their program of study.
- In the case of the detection of any false declaration by the student.
- Scholars must inform the FAEA office about any other grants, scholarships, or financial aid received for their studies. Award amounts may be adjusted based on this information.
- Failure to disclose additional financial support/scholarships may result in the withdrawal of the BHEL-FAEA Scholarship.
