Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet certain educational qualifications to be eligible for this recruitment. The minimum requirement is a Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
- General category candidates must have at least 60% marks in their graduation.
- The minimum required marks for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates are 55%.
- The university or institution must be recognized by the Government of India or any approved regulatory body.
Candidates must ensure that they have all the necessary documents related to their education, such as degree certificates and mark sheets, at the time of application. If the graduation degree follows a CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grading system, it should be converted into a percentage as per university norms.
Candidates must be at least 20 years old, and they cannot be older than 30. To be eligible for this recruitment, candidates must have been born between November 30, 1994, and November 30, 2004 (inclusive). However, in accordance with government directives, the Central Bank of India grants candidates from reserved categories an age relaxation.

- Widows, Divorced Women, and Legally Separated Women (who have not remarried): Up to 35 years (General), 38 years (OBC), and 40 years (SC/ST).

Selection Process
The selection process for the Credit Officer recruitment consists of two main stages: an online examination and a personal interview. The online exam is the first stage, where candidates will be tested on their knowledge and skills through objective-type questions as well as a descriptive section. There is no negative marking in the exam, and those who successfully clear this stage will move on to the interview round.
The interview carries a total of 50 marks, with a minimum qualifying percentage of 50% for General/EWS candidates and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates. The final selection will be based on the combined scores from both the online test and interview.
In case two or more candidates secure the same final score, preference will be given based on their online exam performance, and if required, their date of birth will be considered, with the older candidate being ranked higher.
