SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2025-26
For those with bachelor's degrees between the ages of 21 and 32, the State Bank of India (SBI) Foundation, in collaboration with several reputable NGOs, is offering the SBI Youth for India Fellowship 2025–2026. By living and working alongside communities, the fellowship enables graduates to address urgent rural development issues and fosters a transformative leadership journey. In addition to other benefits, the chosen fellows will receive a readjustment allowance of ₹90,000 and a monthly stipend of ₹16,000.
Eligibility
To be eligible, an applicant must:-
- be an Indian citizen, a citizen of Nepal/Bhutan, or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)*
- be in the age group of between 21 and 32 years as of the date of commencement of the programme
- have completed a bachelor's degree before 1 October 2025.
Note:- Applicants who currently do not possess an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card are advised to visit the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India website for OCI registration. As the registration process can take 1-3 months, it is recommended that applicants initiate the OCI application as soon as possible, ideally coinciding with the start of their Fellowship application.

Benefits

- The SBI Youth for India Fellowship does not guarantee job placement after the 13-month program's completion.
- Selected fellows are required to reside in the project location for the program's entirety. Part-time participation is not accommodated.
- The fellowship maintains an online forum to connect with shortlisted applicants, allowing them to learn more about the program and address any questions they may have.
- Applicants completing the application form's essay questions will have a 60-minute time limit to answer all three prompts.
- Following the online assessment invitation, fellows have 10 days to complete and submit it.
- Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' button below.
- Step 2: Click on the 'Register' button on the right-hand side of the dashboard and fill in the required details to 'Register'. (Note:- If already registered, log in using the registered email ID.)
- Step 3: Navigate to the 'Apply Now' button and click on it.
- Step 4: Fill the required details and click on 'Submit'.
- Step 5: A link will be sent to the registered email to begin with the 'Online Assessment Stage'.
- Step 7: Fill in the application form with all the required details, answer the essay questions and upload the relevant documents (if there are any).
- Step 6: Submit the application.
